For almost a century, the Wyndham Championship, which is held annually at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, has been a highlight of the PGA TOUR. Every year, people from across the country flock to Greensboro to witness some of the world’s most talented golfers in action and for an unforgettable experience. The Wyndham Championship, which was first staged in 1938, is one of the longest-running events on the PGA TOUR and is the final official event of the Regular PGA TOUR season. The tournament was originally called the Greater Greensboro Open, but changed to the Wyndham Championship in 2007. It has been played at multiple venues over the years, but it’s been at Sedgefield Country Club since 2008. Designed by Donald Ross, Sedgefield Country Club’s golf course has become an integral part of the tournament’s success. The course is known for its small greens and blind shots, making it a challenging one for golfers.
