The Expansion: The pavilion will be located just south of the existing downtown Greensboro restaurant (on the corner of Elm and McGee) on land recently purchased from Norfolk Southern.

  • Chris Lester said, “This corner has been a great corner. This project is going to take it to the next level!”

Beer Garden and Brewery: The expansion will include a new single-story structure with interior brewhouse space & a beer garden.

  • The beer garden will span approximately 1/3 acre and accommodate a capacity of roughly 500 individuals. Expect plenty of seating and lots of green space!

The Why: Natty Greene’s currently sells 600 barrels of beer at the restaurant, but they can only produce 300 barrels on the property right now. This expansion will allow them to bring all of their production back in-house.

Timeline: The project is expected to start in 2 weeks and is anticipated to take around 6 months. It will add 75-80 employees to Natty Greene’s staff and represents a $2.5 million investment.
